Home Feng Shui Consultation

A home feng shui consultation reads the energy — Qi — moving through your space and aligns it with the people who live there. Master Vanessa assesses your home’s layout against the BaZi charts of its occupants, then gives practical adjustments that support health, relationships and wealth.

Reads your home against
The charts of the people who live in it.

Poor energy flow shows up in ways most people feel before they can name.
Persistent fatigue, tension at home, money that never seems to settle. A bedroom or kitchen placed against the occupant’s energy can sit at the centre of it. The audit finds those blockages and tells you what to change.

A home feng shui reading aligns the layout of your space with the people inside it — so the home works with the household, not against it.

01 Signs to look for

When a home audit is worth doing

You don’t need a problem to book an audit, but a few situations make one worth doing sooner.

  1. You have just moved in and want to set the home up well from the start.
  2. Sleep has been poor since moving, or one bedroom never feels restful.
  3. Money comes in but does not hold, or finances feel stuck for no clear reason.
  4. Arguments and tension have risen at home without an obvious cause.
  5. You are renovating and want the new layout to support the people living there.
  6. Health complaints keep recurring among the people who sleep or work in one part of the home.

None of these mean something is wrong with your home. They are the everyday signals that the energy and the layout may be working against each other — which is what the audit reads.

02 What you get

What your consultation includes

Four deliverables, tailored to your household — not a generic template.

Full home assessment

A room-by-room reading of Qi flow, covering the main door, bedrooms, kitchen, and work or study areas.

BaZi alignment

Your space mapped against the BaZi charts of the people living in it, so the advice fits your household.

Practical adjustments

Specific, doable changes — placement, layout and remedies you can act on without renovating.

Written summary

A record of the findings and recommendations to refer back to after the visit.

03 What’s assessed

The parts of the home that carry the most weight

The audit covers the areas that most affect the people living there.

Main door & entryway

The main door is where Qi enters the home. Its direction, what faces it, and how energy moves once inside set the tone for everything past it.

Bedrooms

Where the bed sits, which way the sleeper’s head points, and how the room aligns with each occupant’s chart affect rest, health and relationships.

Kitchen & stove

The kitchen governs nourishment and wealth. The stove’s position and orientation are read closely for how they tie to wellbeing.

Wealth & health sectors

Sectors relate to money, health and relationships — and Period 9 has changed which are favoured. Mapped against your floor plan, not a generic compass reading.

Work & study areas

For anyone working or studying from home, where a desk sits affects focus and output — more so now that home and work share the same space.

04 Built for Singapore homes

Advice that works inside a flat or a condo

Most Singapore homes are HDB flats or condos, where you can’t move structural walls and floor plans repeat across thousands of units. The advice has to work inside those limits.

Master Vanessa focuses on what you can change — furniture placement, the flow around the main door, bedroom orientation. These are the adjustments that fit a flat or a condo, not a landed property.

4 Feb 2024

Period 9 has begun

Feng shui works in 20-year cycles. On 4 February 2024 we moved from Period 8 into Period 9, and the energy that favours different sectors of a home shifted with it.

A layout tuned during the last cycle may now sit out of step. A consultation reads your home against Period 9 as it stands today.

05 The process

How the consultation works

From first enquiry to a written summary you can keep.

Step 01

Enquire & share

You get in touch and share your home’s floor plan and the birth dates of the occupants.

Step 02

Charts prepared

Master Vanessa prepares the BaZi charts and reviews the layout ahead of the session.

Step 03

Room-by-room reading

She assesses the space room by room, reading Qi flow against the occupants’ charts.

Step 04

Practical adjustments

You receive changes you can apply, with the reasoning behind each one.

Step 05

Written summary

A written record follows so nothing gets lost after the session.

After the consultation

The value of an audit is in what you do with it.

You leave with a set of adjustments tied to your home and the people in it — most of which you can act on yourself: moving a bed, repositioning a desk, clearing a blocked entryway, placing a remedy where it is needed. Master Vanessa explains the reasoning behind each one so you are not following instructions blindly.

Some households book a follow-up after a major change — a renovation, a new family member, or a move. Because a home’s energy shifts with how it is lived in, a space read a few years ago in Period 8 may benefit from a fresh look under Period 9.

08 Questions

Frequently asked questions

  • Does feng shui work in an HDB flat or condo?
Yes. The principles apply to any home. Because you can’t alter the structure of most flats and condos, the consultation focuses on what is in your control: where furniture sits, how energy moves around the main door, and which rooms suit which occupants.
  • What do I need to prepare?
Your floor plan and the birth dates of everyone living in the home. The birth dates let Master Vanessa build the BaZi charts the audit is based on.
  • How long does a consultation take?
An on-site home audit usually runs around 2 to 3 hours, depending on the size of the home and how many questions you have. Larger homes and households with more occupants tend to sit at the longer end.
  • Can I get a consultation if I am renting?
Yes. Renting limits structural change, but the audit works with placement and arrangement, which is exactly what a tenant can control. Most recommendations for a rented flat or condo are things you can do and undo when you move.
  • I’ve just moved into a new home. Is that a good time?
It is one of the best times. Setting the home up well from the start saves you from rearranging later, and a reading before you furnish a place lets you place the big items right the first time.
  • Are the changes expensive or permanent?
Most are neither. The focus is on placement and arrangement rather than renovation, so the bulk of what you do is reversible and low-cost. If a recommendation does involve a larger change, Master Vanessa will tell you so you can decide.
  • How much does a home feng shui consultation cost?
Fees depend on your home type and the scope of the reading, so the most accurate figure comes from a quick conversation about your place. Get in touch with the details of your home and Master Vanessa will give you a quote.
